General Terms and Conditions

This English version is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

Sales contracts concluded through electronic commerce between www.cuadrossplash.com and the consumer shall be governed by the following General Terms and Conditions of Contract.

Who is selling to you

The sales contract is concluded with Impresión Store Talavera S.L., with Tax Identification Code (Código de Identificación Fiscal) B75652354 and registered office at Calle Santa Águeda 2 bis, Local 2, 45600 Talavera de la Reina (Toledo). How the purchase is made

By clicking the «Finalizar compra» (Complete purchase) button (or «Pagar ahora» (Pay now)) you make a binding declaration of intent by which you accept the conclusion of the order, undertaking to pay for it. You will then receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your order, which confirms the conclusion of the contract.

Contracts concluded in the online shop are archived. You can access the orders you have placed from your customer account or by requesting them by e-mail.

Prices and VAT

The prices shown include the legally applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) and are stated in euros. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices do not include delivery charges. Ownership of the product is transferred upon full payment of the price.

Payment methods

The following payment methods are offered: credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal and bank transfer. If you select bank transfer, you will be sent by e-mail the details of the account to which you must make the transfer. Card payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments; Cuadros Splash neither sees nor stores your card details.

Delivery and delivery charges

In accordance with article 98.3 LGDCU (Spanish General Act for the Protection of Consumers and Users), products are delivered only to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. We do not deliver outside Spain.

The following delivery charges will apply, regardless of the number of items:

In the case of the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, where the purchase needs to be sent in more than one package, we will consult the transport company to adjust the delivery price and will confirm it to you before dispatch.

Packages measuring 150 cm or more in any of their dimensions may be affected by the specific policies of the transport companies. Depending on the area, province or franchise, they may not be obliged to deliver them to the customer's own door, although they will deliver them to the building entrance.

Delivery time

The product will only be dispatched once payment for it has been received, within the delivery time indicated for each product, which as a general rule will be a maximum of 30 working days.

During specific periods of high commercial activity — and not only at Christmas, New Year, Epiphany (Reyes) or Easter — delivery of orders may take somewhat longer than the days indicated. The transport companies themselves may also delay delivery owing to the build-up of shipments. If, for reasons beyond the control of Cuadros Splash, this time limit is not met, we undertake in any event to deliver the product within 30 days.

When you receive your order

It is important that you inspect the package at the time of delivery and make the appropriate complaints and objections if you find that it is in poor condition or shows obvious damage as a result of transport.

In that case, note it on the delivery note or, if it is not possible to check the product, sign it as «pendiente de revisión» (subject to inspection). Then get in touch with us at cuadros@impresionstore.com.

Damage and claims

If you receive your order and it shows any damage caused during transport, we ask you to notify us within 24 hours of receipt, by e-mail or by telephone, sending proof of it (photograph and description) together with your name and order number. This allows us to make a claim against the carrier, and the damaged item will be replaced free of charge.

We are available Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00.

All of the above is without prejudice to the three-year legal guarantee of conformity that the law grants you as a consumer: if the product does not conform to the contract, you may make a claim even after those 24 hours have passed.

What our paintings are like

Our products are paintings made by us, with canvas fabric on a wooden stretcher frame 3 or 3.5 cm deep and with edges printed with a mirror effect. We use high-quality, environmentally friendly eco-inks that are resistant to ultraviolet rays.

Owing to the particular nature of our activity, we wish to state that the paintings may show slight variations from the images shown in the online shop. Our experience tells us that, depending on the type of device or screen, these differences may be accentuated or diminished. The tone of some colours may be affected when converted to digital printing, but always very slightly: golds and silver tend to come out as more yellow and grey tones, and mauves may also show slight changes.

About texture. The descriptions correspond to the original paintings, which, depending on the case, may feature textures, relief, brushstrokes, palette-knife technique, collage, washes, liners or varnishes. However, what you are buying is a digital reproduction printed on canvas of that painted original: reproductions are always smooth, without relief or brushstrokes, unless you order the gel finish (reference SPA1605), which adds texture and relief to the print.

On occasion, certain images have been created using digital techniques or digital painting. Digital design software and artificial intelligence have been used in their production and creation. Some original painted works have been processed with this software to increase their resolution, change their colouring, enhance the works and even transform them. Others have been kept entirely in their original state for printing on canvas.

Errors in the information

Cuadros Splash reserves the right to reject any order placed under an obvious and unintentional error (misconfiguration of price tables, images, descriptions or data) due to computer errors, refunding the amount paid by the customer or offering them another alternative or solution.

Made-to-order paintings: cancellation and returns

All our paintings are made to order, after you place your order and in the size and finish you choose: we hold no stock. For this reason, in accordance with article 103 c) of the Texto Refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios (Consolidated Text of the Spanish General Act for the Protection of Consumers and Users), they are not subject to the right of withdrawal nor to returns due to a change of mind.

You may cancel the order and get your money back within 24 hours of payment by writing to us within that period. After that we begin making it and it can no longer be cancelled.

If the painting arrives damaged or with a defect, we will replace it free of charge (see the sections «When you receive your order» and «Damage and claims»), without prejudice to the three-year legal guarantee of conformity. Further details on the Right of Withdrawal page.

Intellectual property

Impresión Store Talavera S.L. holds the copyright to the contents of this website in their entirety, which are protected by Intellectual Property law and, where applicable, Industrial Property law, as well as by the regulations governing domain names.

The use of such contents by means of actions aimed at concealing their origin or source for commercial purposes, whether in whole or in part, is not permitted, nor is their transformation or exploitation for a purpose contrary to the law that could harm the interests of the owner or their image, constitute unfair competition, or generally contravene the Intellectual Property Act.

Non-profit use of its contents, in whole or in part, is permitted, provided it is done through links to cuadrossplash.com showing the source (articles 31 to 34 of the Ley de Propiedad Intelectual (Spanish Intellectual Property Act), Real Decreto Legislativo 1/1996 de 12 de abril (Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 of 12 April)). The reproduction and commercialisation by other persons of the works displayed here without the necessary permission of the rights holder is not permitted.

Acceptance and applicable law

By reading and understanding these General Terms and Conditions of Contract, the user or customer undertakes to accept them, and to provide truthful information on all data relating to the contractual relationship they enter into with Impresión Store Talavera S.L.

The contractual sales relationship between the customer and Cuadros Splash is subject to Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties shall submit to the Courts and Tribunals corresponding to the consumer's place of residence.
